Recently, the hydrogen purification unit renovation project of the hydrogen peroxide plant in the caprolactam department of Hunan Petrochemical has been successfully completed and put into use. Behind this achievement, the high-performance methanation catalyst provided by our company has played a crucial role, laying a solid foundation for the smooth progress and efficient operation of the project.

On June 4, our company delivered 3 tons of high-performance methanation catalyst to Hunan Petrochemical on time with efficient response and precise delivery. This catalyst is tailored to the characteristics of the tail hydrogen from the cyclohexanone plant. Through a unique active component ratio and innovative support structure design, it can accurately catalyze CO in the tail hydrogen, enabling its rapid conversion into methane.

During the actual application process, this catalyst has demonstrated powerful performance advantages and successfully overcome technical problems such as large fluctuations in the CO content of hydrogen and excessive organic matter in the tail hydrogen in the project. After testing, the CO concentration in the treated hydrogen is stably controlled below 1 ml/Nm³, and the organic matter content is stably controlled below 5 ml/Nm³. All indicators are superior to the hydrogen standard for hydrogen peroxide production raw materials.

The application of this catalyst not only realizes the efficient recycling of hydrogen resources but also significantly reduces the hydrogen peroxide plant's dependence on external hydrogen procurement. According to preliminary estimates, after the project is put into production, the annual hydrogen procurement cost can be reduced by approximately 144 million yuan, creating significant economic benefits for the enterprise and highlighting the outstanding value of our company's catalyst products in improving quality and efficiency in the chemical industry.
